We are very much getting used to this lifestyle - up before 6AM (ok, maybe not getting used to that part), at the beach or somewhere outside by 7AM, nap at noon (not the grown-ups), pool in the afternoon, in bed by 9PM. It is very, very hot here - so hot that in the afternoon the sand at the beach is too hot for the boys to walk on. We learned that October is the hottest month in Maui (who knew?) and this has been an unseasonably hot summer for them....sounds like home. Temperatures have been 30 degrees but with the humidity it feels like 37 degrees. However, not too hard to take when you have a pool or ocean at your disposal.
More pics to show you what we have been up to...
Patiently waiting to go
We found a park!!
Hot, hot, hot...at 8AM
Will's becoming a fan of the beach...Nate, not so much. He loves playing with the sand, as long as his feet don't have to touch it.
Looking for lizards outside of our 'house'
Ready to go to the pool
They LOVE the pool!
I'm sexy and I know it....
Makena beach
Bananas! Dave and I tried to tell them they weren't bananas but they were having none of that.
