Surrounded by boys.....and Ms.B

Welcome to my blog. I've called it 'A House of Hawes' as I am completely surrounded by Hawes' people, a scary (albeit fun) thought at times. Even the dogs have that last name registered. We've decided to go the blog route instead of our website so we can keep things updated easier as the 'Will and Nate' story continues....what a story it's turning out to be!

Fun in February

Will and Nate are very busy boys these days - so much to do, so little time. They are on the move....they are hard to keep up with and get themselves in all kinds of trouble. Bumps and bruises are becoming daily additions to their physique as they work on coordination with their new found skills. Nate is standing and likes to do 'look mom no hands'.....then crash. Will is still a four-legged creature. These pictures tell of their recent adventures around the house.

Coffee 'n Scream - with emphasis on 'Scream'

Last weekend we took the boys to a place in Calgary called 'Coffee 'n Scream' and met up with our friends and their daughter Siena (Will and Nate fight for her affection) for what was a very loud albeit fun couple of hours. Nate wasn't so fond of all of the noise (he's the one wearing the stylish plaid flannel pants, Will is in the beige shirt). I think all the other children that didn't look like him was very confusing. The only time he let me put him down was when he found the kitchen. He also had a quick turn in the pink car. Will was Mr Independent and pretty much took off to do his own thing as did Siena.
