Halloween!

Will and Nate had a blast trick-or-treating this year - it was their first experience and we figured we would be out for 20 minutes. Over an hour later, they didn't want to come home. Will discovered Smarties courtesy of our friend and neighbour Gladys. He just walked in, crawled up on her chair and helped himself to the candy bowl. As we are big fans of farm animals in this house, Will went as a cow and Nate went as a pig....here is a little video and a few pics of their take on the whole thing.

Shuswap Part 1

Some pics from our adventure where the weather was perfect, naps were pointless (according to the boys) and bedtime was missed nightly......despite the sleep deprivation, we had a blast and plan to return next year.

Road Trip!

We went all the way to beautiful Scotch Creek which is located in the Shuswap lakes area of BC. It was our first 'family' vacation and we had a fabulous time. Getting there was a long haul with lots of construction through the mountains. So, there were several stops along the way to give the boys a break. It took us 9 hours to get there but we made it!

Will and his fashion sense.....

Will is becoming quite insistent about some of his fashion choices. A few weeks ago, it was the first really hot day of the year. Will spotted his winter coat which is now too small and he insisted on wearing it...zipped up.

First Haircuts!

I finally had to succumb to having the boys' hair cut after Will's long locks were starting to have strangers interact with us by saying 'oh, you have twins....a boy and a girl?'.

The boys were very well behaved - there were no tears and they hammed it up for the 'hairstylist'. Dave was a little miffed that each boy's haircut cost more than his ever does. That tells you all a lot about his choices for hair salons!
